Honda NSX Type R '02- 700PP - Racing Hard Tires - All Track - SWAP - 1.39

SWAP`ENGINE : HR-414E-NSX

Wide car
Rims wide
Offset wide

Front B
Side A
Rear St
Wing A

Honda NSX '02 with the rear A diffuser is easy to drive, very grippy and stable , but this part is reducing a lot the PP turning the car very slow. After a lot of time testing some configurations , i've finally found a way to let the car sane and fast , able to race any of the top 10 700PP cars anywhere.

Enjoy your drive.
Excellent on the non-swap car, too. Thanks.

Hi maestro @praiano63

Thank you for all your tunes! They have made driving so much more enjoyable and I'm much more excited to try new cars!

Having said this and since there has been some updates to physics, I couldn't find a recent Top list of what you consider the best cars for grinding at 600pp, 700pp and 800pp.

Could you please update your top5 our top10 for our reference?

Obrigado!

Hi again power is 566 BHP and 2130 lb of weight so basically the megane trophy with high rpm turbo, exhaust manifold and maxed out, tyre is racing soft. Thank you again for your help!! Your settings have made me win many races!
About the 11kg of ballast , are you free to put it at any position ?

Surprised you didn't mention the miura, it was your description that convinced me to get it and it's such a beast in Tokyo and lemans

Can finish the event around 25 minutes flat.
Different strategies available, I did FM1 on the straight and FM6 for the rest of the track.

I think this cars is an oversight in how PP is calculated as it simply has TOO MUCH POWER.

thank you!

Is your clean and Beasty setting the same as the dirty one you mentioned? I rather have the clean and Beasty since for dirty nothing beats the cappuccino swap!

It is the same, it just depends on how much control you wrestle of that car ;)
I was really trying hard to keep it on track for just that 12 laps (but it is possible and quite a good feeling seeing that 2 minute lap times), and I couldnt do it any more than twice in succesion before being mentally exhausted.

I havent done a wallriding run with it, so I cant really say how much faster it would be.
I dont imagine it being faster than the Capuccino.

Thanks. I tried and it's insanely fast, actually on the straight it's faster than the cappuccino tune I use but it's just insane torque and really difficult to control. Certainly a beast but a hard one to tame 😅

So , i'm playing now at 120 hz 2560x1440 and low latency mode with VRR.
I'm 2 seconds faster on Nordschleife for the next manufacturers test , 7:56.9xx now with my new TV , this morning at 60hz old TV i was 7:58.5xx
I'm feeling more precision at the wheel to reach any apex , i can control more easily the rear end under acceleration (low latency help a lot). Just a few lost of graphics 2K , nothing big. I just have to sell my old TV tomorrow on the market place.
Very good results , i'm a more happy player , it was a very good investment for me.

Wow, and you attribute that time improvement to better resolution on the screen? Or you think the difference is how fast the graphics are rendered on the screen?

What about with your PSVR2? You don't use it? I use it exclusively since I've had it and never race on the flat screen anymore

Not on 120hz but low latency make a small difference. More precision at the wheel inputs = precision , regularity , less mistakes = better overall time. 2 seconds on a 8 minutes Nordschleife lap. I'm very regular on this track. 2 seconds is a significant difference.

Separate fastest time from experience that most feels like racing. Without VR, sim only drivers have no real appreciation of what the corkscrew at Laguna Seca is like (a freaking roller coaster that is terrifying the first time) or how dramatic the elevation changes are at the Ring. Cars didn’t take flight there for no reason. I think Praiano even referenced how surprised he was by elevation shifts when he first used VR.

Now think in terms of shaving fractions of a second and brain processing. On a flat screen, in sim, it’s going to be much faster. There is much less to process in our brains when it’s flattened. It’s less immersive, and that’s why I also can’t run flat screen any longer, but I understand why it allows the fastest possible times. If I was still able to turn in times myself at their level, I might even care! But now I just want the immersion.

This is exactly this. VR is fantastic but not performant enough for racing. Too much informations to process . I'm sure that if real racing driver could step over the roof or bump of his car to check the clean stable view , he would do it.
This is 2 way to play , VR is for incredibles uniques sensations , flat screen is for performance. The difference of lap time is not so big , around 1 second for a 2 minutes lap +-.
Also the lack of racing informations in the VR don't help for racing for the moment.

Hi Praiano, what camera view do you use when using your TV?
