The European GT Sport news just keeps on coming. Earlier today, we reported that Portugal would have it’s own release event and now Spain is joining the party. Starting today and lasting until Sunday, those in the city will have the chance to win special GT Sport prize packs.

Although hard to believe, GT Sport is nearly upon us. Release is due next month and as such the marketing for the game is expected to ramp up to 11 in the coming weeks. In line with this, an exclusive GT Sport event has been revealed for Portugal.

An official Sony livestream during Tokyo Game Show has given us our first look at the Porsche 911 RSR in action. Spotted last week on the show floor, the racing machine is the second Porsche to be revealed for GT Sport. Our first glimpse comes during a live broadcast race at veteran GT mainstay Suzuka Circuit.

Dutch Formula 1 prodigy Max Verstappen got the chance to play GT Sport at last week’s Singapore Grand Prix. The 19 year old teamed up with Tag Heuer to promote the latest GT game before the big race, heading up one of two groups that competed in a team battle. Max represented Red Bull Formula 1 at the special event to celebrate the launch of a new Red Bull timepiece.

An off-screen capture from the Tokyo Game Show build of GT Sport has revealed a new car that will feature in the title. The vehicle in question comes from the house of Porsche, and it’s a more than welcome addition. Say hello to the Porsche 911 RSR.

Legendary British car manufacturer and race team McLaren has unveiled a new Vision Gran Turismo car.

A special controller bundle for GT Sport is set to commemorate the release of the new title. Listed by European retailer ShopTo, the bundle will include a copy of Gran Turismo Sport and a silver GT-branded Dualshock 4.

With less than a month until release, Sony has slowly begun revealing more information on the game modes of GT Sport.
