RUF Celebrates the CTR’s 30th Anniversary with an All-New Yellow Bird

The Geneva Motor Show is typically a treat for auto enthusiasts, but this year has truly been something else. Between the launches of a new Ferrari grand tourer, McLaren supercar and even an Alpine sports coupe, we’ve been treated to a Bentley roadster, a four-door take on Mercedes’ AMG GT, and Pininfarina’s long-awaited Vision GT candidate.

One of the most well-received driving games ever — Gran Turismo 4 — was supposed to bring with it a fully functional online feature. Unfortunately, due to certain technical problems and a shortage of time, the feature was dropped from the game prior to its release. Instead, Polyphony Digital quietly released Gran Turismo 4 Online Test Version in June 2006, providing authentic online racing to a limited group of 5,000 lucky players.

News has arrived out of Germany that Fanatec’s older racing wheel base, the ClubSport Wheel Base V2, has received a makeover and has been upgraded to V2.5. Even though the technology inside hasn’t been completely altered, the V2.5 does feature some noticeable improvements.

Pininfarina Continues to Tease Fittipaldi EF7; Full Reveal Next Week

February began with the taunting reveal of the latest addition to the “not even halfway done” Vision GT Project. The Fittipaldi EF7 is headed by the legendary Italian coach-builder Pininfarina, and bears the initials of the two-time F1 and Indy 500 Driver’s Champion Emerson Fittipaldi. Set to be revealed in earnest next week, March 7 at the Geneva International Motor Show, some new information has emerged before its big day.

DiRT 4 Special Edition and Day One Edition Details Announced

Codemasters has taken to its official blog to detail the various versions of DiRT 4 players will be able to choose between when the game releases this June, with multiple options and perks being available to choose from. The differences between each edition mostly seem to be related to in-game items so those looking for some physical goodies may be slightly disappointed.
