I thought it might be a good idea to collate all the drifting related suggestions from >here< into one place. :gtpflag:

(controversial) Confirmation that PD/SONY are actually looking at the suggestions, so all the more reason to get all this liked!


Please, everyone, make sure we like each of these suggestions to let PD know that the drifting community wants more dedicated content!

Great idea @FussyFez 👍 I was scrolling through the suggestions forum the other day, but it's so disorganized that it's hard to find specific things.

It would be awesome to get a list of desired drift cars as well (Cressida, Laurel, JZX90 & 110, a few dozen BMWs, etc), as well as a list of cars to be premiumized (Supra, AE86, etc). The only cars I could find in the suggestion list was cars already in the game and a couple BMWs.

Also, not sure if it's in the suggestions thread, but there's a short list of "features" or "options" that would be very drift friendly, such as off track TCS, and the option to drive on multi-layout circuits (Suzuka, Matterhorn, etc) with all of the barriers removed

I'm planning on doing a few D1 cars for the suggestions soon.

I was going to go through and link any interesting drift cars that I found (time consuming on my phone ), but if anyone finds anything they want putting in the OP, just post it here and I'll add it in.

One thing though....

That last picture of Irohozaka, I'm pretty sure that's Tianmenshan, watch the video in the Tianmenshan thread. Research says it's in China?

Excelent thread, excelent compilation, particulary the tracks. Those would add immense quality to the drift community.
As for the cars, also agree, but imo that's a whole diferent matter, and by this I mean, not gonna happen. They will just keep adding new more recent cars and won't add the classics such as the E30 or Escorts, and won't make the Supra Premium. You know we've been there before on this forum and everywhere else. Unfortunately don't think it's gonna happen. (but hey, you'll have 348 diferent new Teslas).
I will try to promote this ideas too amongst my fellow gt players.

As much as I want to be stubborn, i have to agree.

But, hopefully, if PD are genuinely taking note, we can atleast hope these classics might be included in GT7.

I definitely think a 'Retro sports saloons' pack would sell nicely, maybe not as much as a 'P1 and LaFerrari' pack, but I would buy the retro sports saloons first, without doubt. (of course I want a P1 aswell, but that's a different matter)


The main point of the cars section, it's for when I can be bothered to make suggestion threads for a load of D1 cars.

I do all of this on my phone, so it can become tedious after an hour or so of copy and pasting info/links.

I'm almost positive the spiral bridge is Irohozaka. It's the first image that comes up when you Google "Iohozaka touge". There also used to be Redbull wing suite video on YouTube, and there is footage of guys flying around the cable cars that run directly over the bridge...and again, I'm almost positive I read that footage was shot in Japan, not China. I could be mistaken, but I'm almost certain I'm not :lol:

Also, added a track map to my first post.

I literally saw it for the first time the other day in the Tianmenshan Mountain suggestion thread.

Watch that video and you'll see it.

That's literally the only peice of evidence I have :lol:

I then Googled Tianmenshan Mountain, and it's apparently in China, the road leads to a shrine built in a huge natural stone arch (probably the wingsuit thing you mention, I think I've seen it)



I could be completely wrong :cheers:

Quick note, there's actually already a couple Irohozaka suggestion threads, so I'm going to see if a mod can merge the all. And you should add Tianmenshen to the list if you haven't already 👍

I see you added Matterhorn with no barriers...any luck finding a thread about removing barriers on all tracks that have multiple configs? Like Suzuka, Motegi, GVS, SSR5/clubman, A-ring, Nurb, etc etc.

If there isn't one, I'll make the thread later when I get home.

I've not found one, i was going to put one up in the features section.

Option in track settings to remove all barriers. Only available for free run/drift mode.


If you haven't done one by tomorrow I'll do it.

I'll was going to link the Matterhorn thread as an example.
