It's ok , no need to do anything. I've send a message that he deleted , saying if it was ok to share my settings the way he want , but he had to give me any origin for this , just saying where this setting coming from... but he became agressive , sure he's a problematic person. Need to let him alone with his own conscience . No problem for me.

I've tried to tame this problematic rear end. I did it almost , letting just a few to not kill this wonderfull car. I've test the softer compound at the rear too , but the understeer were too much prominent. So you'll still have to watch your back ... peacefully.
Gearbox is manual but customized one.

Hey Praiano, I think I understand the reason for the shortage but any chance you can give 800PP a bit more love? I love the World Cup 5 race thing at menu 39 and there are a few other 800s dotted about.

What i really want to do is smash it with a saloon road car. I foolsihly picked the M3 '03 but it's NA and I just can't get quite the power and drivability balance. I think I might try to spank up the C63?
 
Hey Praiano. Quick question. I'm tuning the transmission on the Citroën GT. When tuning a 7 gear transmission, do you prefer to make it a 6 gear transmission by making the the 7th gear so tall it will never be used or making it so 7th gear is very short. Just not sure which way to go. Thank you.

The R33 700PP racing hard can do this with some extra fun. I've tested it a few minutes ago. .

Yes , a 7th gear is plus . Need to be close from 6th . It help a lot for the engine to stay in the optimum range high RPM where the power is. Torque speak for acceleration , power for top speed to defeat wind resistance.

I wouldn't worry about that guy at all. Lot of strange people out in this world that get upset over someone else's success.....just stupid.

You're awesome at what you do, he's just mad he can't do it like you can.
 
I got bored and did the world GT Series Championship. I used the 911 RSR with medium RPM Turbo and RM tires and the Praiano tune but changed the natural frequency to 4.15/4.25 to compensate for the softer rubber. That car is an absolute beast set up like that. It’s not a hard championship to win, but it absolutely dominated every race set up like that.

The stock is so horrible that i think that they did it on purpose. A real sabotage for the scuderia.
I did a setting for it , now it's very performant car. Great grip , good precision ,medium top speed , but it's a real rocket , very pleasant to race..

I love the tame of the cavallino. I used it in the Sardegna WTC800 without restrictions (775hp if I remember, with a medium RPM turbo instead) and only problem is lack of stopping power. Running conservative on Fuel (at 6) was a charm and you can stop it with confidence, lapping consistently on 1:39-1:40... but sending all the cavalry going full send (Fuel usage at 1) the braking points change completely, some of them 50m before, and consistency was hard to maintain, laptimes didn't improve either.

As you said, it's a solid rocket. A real pity that BoP races flrce us to use the original awful setting.

Ferrari Dino 246GT 1971 is almost ok but at 500PP , 550PP were a bit too much. The original suspension like that i always for Ferrari in GT7, PD did a very bad work building the most of the cars. The Dino is my preferred in this range in precedents GT. I tried to set with same front & rear tires , but when at the limit where the extreme settings can go , there is still a lot to go for a balanced build. A real shame.
Sport hard rear & Comfort soft front were the sweet spot to make a pleasant setting. It can run Sport medium rear & Sport hard front if the lobby don't let comfort tires... But still a real marvel. Very soon here in the garage.

Have you purchased the Toyota Sprinter Trueno yet? I copied your suspension setting from the Mazda Roadster(front ride height 90 though because could not get low to 85. I think they may be similar enough cars too so I figured what the heck, see how it goes) and the Trueno seems to drive a lot better than the factory stock setting and all the crappy settings I tried myself with that car lol.

Very good GR3 , not N°1 for the moment , N°1 is(BMW Z4) but inside the top 4 , Very easy to drive , problem with torque snap oversteer out corner , This setting allow MAXED TUNE for GT800 events.

Any idea why I can never see the same ratios to be able to make it the same as these? I cam only get it to 2.426 on the 1st gear, can't get it anywhere near 2.385

Extremely fast in this range , can be detuned 550PP , excelent for Tsukuba , tested on all the places.
The driving is not 100% pleasure , the car was very weird out of the box , i've spent long hours trying to correct the way the car move around his corners , it's ok now but there is still fews bad move.

Do you ever drive/tune street cars with racing tires? Is there common adjustments when going from street to race tires?
Occasionally I drive the 22b with racing tires for the extra grip and wonder what adjustments should be made from your sports medium tune.

This car is a legend across all GT game. Some others cars in the game are more performant in same PP , but it drive very well , steady , with a very good eagerness , good front grip . A pleasure to pilot.
You can run softer compound for turny grip tracks , harder tires to benefit power and PP on faster circuit.

sir i would like to thank you for all your great work in those tunes,
right now im struggling with the supra tune , i do really love this car and doing ur tune there was something strange as u can see i did exactly everything include the widebody parts reduction everything im like 3pp short but thats not the issue it happenes alot but the stats are almost identical but in here even my hp and torque is different and couldnt figure the difference, could you look for that if u can? Thanks alot again

In this order
1- set auto speed at the minimum 200kmh
2-set the final gear to 3.450.
3- set each gear ratio beginning from the last gear to first gear in this order (then it will fit the ration 2,385).

Normally stiffer springs , and few compression point more . Also LSD acceleration could be raised. Normally. But the 22B was so weird with original setting that i had to use uncommon weird settings to join all together. If you mess one thing , you can ruin the rest like a card castle. Perhaps only racing tires are ok. I didn't test it.

Strange . The only thing that can mess with PP if every setting identic is the gears . You didn't join the pic so we can't see if it could be this.

I can speak only about the tuned ones. Most of the originals MR GR4 and GR3 are broken. 4WD drive like a boat ...
From the cars i've tuned , i can say Ferrari GR4 , Genesis G70 and Alfa.

I don't publish gearbox normally for all around settings. You have to do your own setting according with the track you race on. Sometime i publish the one i've used during the last test. I rarely keep my gearbox settings. I build in the minute for where i'll drive.
